The Louvre has published a magnificent edition, under the direction of Pauline Prevost-Marcilhacy, art historian : "The Rothschilds, a dynasty of patrons in France", in three volumes. Our collection has been the subject of an article, accompanied by some photographs.

Mrs Marcilhacy recently visited us at the Villa Saint-Hilaire, accompanied by the director of Villa Ephrussi. Impressed by the collection, she told us, with all the enthusiasm that characterizes her, that she wanted to imagine an exhibition in relation to the three women - Alice, Betty and Beatrice - who marked the cities of Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, Cannes or Grasse with the seal of the Rothschilds.

Although Villa Ephrussi does not have a showroom, its curator has assured us that he could participate in an operation organized in Grasse (Villa Saint-Hilaire) and Cannes (Villa Rothschild) by lending furniture and works of art. The curators of Waddesdon Manor have also expressed a keen interest in the idea of exhibiting in this emblematic place some pieces of the collection ... To be continued
